Who Can Enter

1. Entrants must be legal residents of Kansas or Missouri and at least 18 years of age, and have lawful access to the internet with a valid e-mail address at time of entry.

2. Employees of Local TV LLC. (“Sponsor”), the Mavericks, Independence Events Center and their affiliates, and the advertising and promotion agencies of each, and the immediate family members and all others who reside in the same household of such employees, are ineligible to enter or win.

How to Enter

1. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. Maximum one entry per hour. In the event of a dispute, Sponsor will deem each entry to have been submitted by the holder of the e-mail account from which it was sent. The promotion begins at 12:00 am on November 17, 2011and continues through March 24, 2012.

2. To enter, access the on-line contest entry form on fox4kc.com and follow all instructions.

Sponsor is not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entries, winner(s) or other contest information by Sponsor or entrants for any reason whatsoever. Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the Contest or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. All entries become the property of Sponsor and none will be returned. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the Contest if it becomes technically corrupted.

3. One winner per game will be selected by random drawing from among valid entries on or before the applicable entry deadline indicated on Table 1A.

The Prizes

1. Each winner will receive 4 tickets to one game as set forth in Table 1A above. The approximate retail value of each prize is $100.00 per game. The games will be hosted at the Independence Event Center; tickets are located in Section 113, Row D, Seats 1,2,3,4. If any game is cancelled, the prize is forfeited and will not be replaced.

2. Each winner will be notified by phone and or e-mail on the dates detailed in TABLE 1A.

3. The winners will have 48 hours to return the call or e-mail from the first attempt at notification. The winners will be required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility and liability and publicity release within 2 working days of the date of notification or they will be disqualified. If the winner does not respond within the required time frame, an alternate winner can be randomly drawn from among the remaining eligible entries. If an eligible winner has not responded and returned the required affidavit and release by 5:00 pm the last working day before the game, then no prize will be awarded for that specific game.

4. Prizes can not be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winners. The winners cannot assign or transfer prizes. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason.

5. Each winner is responsible for all local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on the value of the prizes set forth in these rules.

Odds of Winning Miscellaneous

1. Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

2. Additional copies of these official contest rules are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours at WDAF TV 3030 Summit, Kansas City, MO 64108 through March 24, 2012.

3. For a list of prize winners, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to: WDAF TV, Mavericks Best Seats Contest, 3030 Summit, Kansas City, MO 64108.

4. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. By entering, participants represent that they are eligible, and agree (a) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the Sponsor and judges which shall be final in all respects, (b) to release Local TV LLC, WDAF TV, the Mavericks, Independence Event Center and their respective parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and (c) to Sponsor’s use of participants’ personal information as described in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located at fox4kc.com.
