Big 12 Football Ultimate Fan Contest

Who Can Enter

1. Entrants must be legal residents of Kansas or Missouri and at least 18 years of age, and have lawful access to the internet with a valid e-mail address.

2. Employees of Local TV, WDAF / Fox 4 Television Stations, Inc. (“Sponsor”), Price Chopper, University of Kansas, University of Missouri-Columbia and University of K-State Athletic Departments and their affiliates, and the advertising and promotion agencies of each, and the immediate family members of such employees, are ineligible.

How to Enter

1. No purchase is necessary to enter or win. One entry per contest per hour. In the event of a dispute, Sponsor will deem each entry to have been submitted by the holder of the e-mail account from which it was sent. The promotion begins at 12:00 am on or about August 24, 2011, and continues through on or about December 3, 2011.

2. To enter, access the on-line contest entry form on fox4kc.com.com and follow all instructions.

Sponsor is not responsible for error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction or unauthorized access to or alterations of entry materials, or technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entry, winner(s) or other contest information by Sponsor or entrants for any reason whatsoever. Sponsor is also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from playing or downloading any materials in the Contest or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. All entries become the property of Sponsor and will not be returned. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE CONTEST IS A VIOLATION OF THE CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor reserves the right to cancel the contest if it becomes technically corrupted.

The Prizes

1. Each winner will receive a pair of tickets to the specific game they won and a $50.00 gift card to Price Chopper. The approximate retail value of each prize is $90.00 per game. (This value is only an estimate /each school has tiered pricing for games / based on lowest price level for specific game for single tickets sales) If any game is cancelled, the prize is forfeited and will not be replaced.

5. Each winner will be notified by phone and or e-mail on or about the dates detailed in TABLE 1A. Winners are limited to win one pair of tickets for the duration of the Big 12 Ultimate Fan Contest.

The winners will have 24 hours to return the call or e-mail from the first attempt at contact. The winners will be required to sign and return an affidavit and release within 2 working days of the date of notification or they will be disqualified. If the winner does not respond within the required time frame, an alternate winner will be randomly drawn from among the remaining eligible entries. If an eligible winner has not responded and returned the required Affidavit and Release by 5 pm the Friday before the game date they won, then no prize will be awarded for that specific game.

3. Prizes can not be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winners. The winners cannot assign or transfer prize. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute a comparable prize of like or greater value, including cash, for any prize, for any reason.

4. Each winner is responsible for all local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on the value of the prizes set forth in these rules.

Odds of Winning Miscellaneous

1. Odds of winning the on-line contest depend on the number of entries received.

2. Complete contest rules are available Monday through Friday during normal business hours at WDAF TV 3030 Summit, Kansas City, MO 64108 through December 3, 2011.

3. For a list of prize winners, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope to: WDAF TV, Big 12 Ultimate Football Contest, 3030 Summit, Kansas City, MO 64108.

4. This contest is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited. By entering, participants represent that they are eligible, and agree (a) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, (b) to release WDAF TV, Local TV, University of Missouri-Columbia, University of Kansas, University of Kansas State and Price Chopper its parent, subsidiaries, affiliates, directors, officers, employees, and agents from any and all liability for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and (c) to Sponsor’s use of participants’ personal information as described in Sponsor’s Privacy Policy located at fox4kc.com.
