Who Can Enter

Entrants must be legal residents of Kansas or Missouri who are 18 years of age or older and have lawful access to the Internet and a valid e-mail address at time of entry. Entries are restricted to Kansas City DMA High School enrolled/sanctioned vocal groups (Minimum of 6 member vocal groups). Employees of WDAF TV/Local TV Holdings LLC, Price Chopper, Associated Wholesale Grocers,, (collectively, “Sponsors”), their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of each such employee are ineligible.

How to Enter

1. The Contest/Voting begins when the online contest entry form/video uploading is posted on www.fox4kc.com on or about April 13, 2010 and all entries must be received by 11:59 local Kansas City time on May 4, 2010. To enter, access the on-line contest/voting entry form and follow all posted instructions on how to upload your video and instruction on voting. Entry constitutes an assignment to Sponsors of all of your intellectual property rights in the entry materials, if any. Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winners’ names, hometowns, likenesses, and photographs for broadcast, online posting, or in any other media, and/or any advertising and publicity without additional compensation. Maximum one (1) entry permitted per e-mail address, per hour.

2. Sponsors are not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alterations of, entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entries, communications with winner(s) or other giveaway information by Sponsors or entrants for any reason whatsoever. Sponsors are also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from downloading any materials in the giveaway or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. All entries become the property of Sponsors and none will be returned. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsors reserve the right to cancel the giveaway if it becomes technically corrupted.

3. The winning vocal group will be based on the video with the largest number of votes. Should there be a tie, the winning vocal group will be drawn randomly from the finalists. The winning vocal group will be contacted on or about May 5, 2010 by phone and/or e-mail.

The Prizes

4. The winning vocal group will receive a $1000 cash donation to their High School Art Department courtesy of Price Chopper. The winning vocal group could also appear on the Fox 4 Morning News on a date TBD (pending scheduling and daily news occurrences).

5. The winning vocal group will be notified by e-mail and/ or phone on or about May 5, 2010. The winning vocal group will be required to complete, sign and return a Certification of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release within 72 hours of the date of notification or the winning vocal group will be disqualified. If the winning vocal group cannot be reached, or if the winning vocal group does not return the Certification of Eligibility and Release within the designated time period or if the winning vocal group is ineligible, the prize will be awarded to the next highest voted vocal group from among all remaining eligible entries.

6. The Prize cannot be substituted for any other items by the winning vocal group. The winning vocal group cannot assign or transfer prizes. Sponsor reserves the right to substitute any prize or component of any prize package with a prize or component of like or greater value, including cash, for any reason.

7. The winning vocal group is responsible for all local, county, state, and federal taxes on prizes based on the value of the prizes set forth in these rules.

Odds of Winning Miscellaneous

8. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

9. These giveaway rules are available at fox4kc.com and Monday through Friday during normal business hours at WDAF TV 30303 Summit, Kansas City, MO 64108 through May 5, 2010.

10. For the name of the prize winning vocal group, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope after May 5, 2010 to: “Glee in KC” Contest / WDAF TV 3030 Summit, Kansas City, MO 64108.

11. This giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law, including without limitation, in jurisdictions requiring registration, the establishment of a trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements or disclosures that are not expressly satisfied by these rules. Sponsor is not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the giveaway, or in any announcement relating to the giveaway.

12. By entering, participants represent that they are eligible, and agree (a) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final in all respects, (b) to release Sponsors, their corporate parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and promotion agencies and the directors, officers, employees, and agents of each of these entities from any and all liability and claims for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and (c) to the use of entrants’ personal information as described in WDAF TV’s Privacy Policy located at fox4kc.com.com.
