Who Can Enter

Entrants must be legal residents of Kansas or Missouri who are 18 years of age or older and have lawful access to the Internet and a valid e-mail address at time of entry. Employees of WDAF TV/Local TV Holdings LLC and the Kansas City Royals, (collectively, “Sponsors”), their affiliated companies, advertising and promotion agencies, and the immediate family members of each such employee, are ineligible.

How to Enter

1. The giveaway begins when the online contest entry form is posted on www.fox4kc.com on November 2, 2009, and all entries must be received by 11:59 pm local Kansas City time on November 24, 2009 (the “Contest Period”). To enter, access the on-line contest entry form and follow all posted instructions. Entry constitutes an assignment to Sponsors of all of your intellectual property rights in the entry materials, if any. Except where prohibited by law, entry constitutes permission to use winners’ names, hometowns, likenesses, and photographs for broadcast, online posting, or in any other media, and/or any advertising and publicity without additional compensation. Maximum one (1) entry permitted per e-mail address, per hour.

2. Sponsors are not responsible for any error, omission, interruption, deletion, defect, delay in operations or transmission, theft or destruction, or unauthorized access to, or alterations of, entry materials, or for technical, network, telephone equipment, electronic, computer, hardware, or software malfunctions of any kind, or inaccurate transmission of or failure to receive entries, communications with winner(s) or other giveaway information by Sponsors or entrants for any reason whatsoever. Sponsors are also not responsible for any injury or damage to any entrant’s or any other person’s computer related to or resulting from downloading any materials in the giveaway or for entries that are late, misdirected or incomplete. All entries become the property of Sponsors and none will be returned. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY AN ENTRANT TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEB SITE OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATIONS OF THE GIVEAWAY IS A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS, AND SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, THE SPONSORS RESERVE THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH ENTRANT TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsors reserve the right to cancel the giveaway if it becomes technically corrupted.

3. One grand prize winner will be selected by random drawing from among all valid entries received during the Contest Period on or about November 25, 2009.

The Prize

The grand prize winner will receive a framed, autographed Zack Greinke KC Royals jersey. Approximate value is $200.

4. The winners will be notified by e-mail and phone call on November 25, 2009. Winners will be required to complete and sign a Certification of Eligibility and Liability/Publicity Release to include the winner's name, address, telephone number, birthdate and social security number, and return this release within 30 days of the date of notification. If a winner cannot be reached, or if a winner does not return the Certification of Eligibility and Release within the designated time period, the winner will be disqualified and the prize will be awarded to an alternate winner selected at random from among all remaining eligible entries.

5. The Prize cannot be redeemed for cash or substituted for any other items by the winner. The winner cannot assign or transfer prizes. Sponsors reserve the right to substitute any prize or component of any prize package with a prize or component of like or greater value, including cash, for any reason.

6. Individuals are eligible to win only one (1) prize offered by WDAF TV within any 30-day period, regardless of the number of giveaways entered. Winners must claim the prize by 3:00 pm on December 11, 2009, or the prize will be forfeited.

Odds of Winning Miscellaneous

7. The odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received.

8. These giveaway rules are available at fox4kc.com and Monday through Friday during normal business hours at WDAF TV 30303 Summit, Kansas City, MO 64108 through December 1, 2009.

9. For the name of the prize winner, send a separate, self-addressed, stamped envelope after December 1, 2009 to: Zack Greinke Contest / WDAF TV 3030 Summit, Kansas City, MO 64108.

10. This giveaway is subject to all applicable laws and regulations and is void where prohibited or restricted by law, including without limitation, in jurisdictions requiring registration, the establishment of a trust account, or posting of a bond, or any other requirements or disclosures that are not expressly satisfied by these rules. Sponsors are not responsible for typographical or other errors in the printing, offering, or administration of the giveaway, or in any announcement relating to the giveaway.

By entering, participants represent that they are eligible, and agree (a) to be bound by these rules and the decisions of the judges, which shall be final in all respects, (b) to release Sponsors, their corporate parents, subsidiaries, affiliates, and promotion agencies and the directors, officers, employees, and agents of each of these entities from any and all liability and claims for any injuries, losses, or damages of any kind caused by any prize or resulting from the acceptance, possession, use, or misuse of any prize, and (c) to the use of entrants’ personal information as described in WDAF TV’s Privacy Policy located at fox4kc.com.
